To all of our Fleet Owners, Leasing Companies, and Drivers:
Effective Monday, December 19th, 2022 at 12:01 AM, there will be a new NYC rate increase to all Yellow and Green taxi cabs.
In preparation, please contact Yani or Giovanni at Metroshop at 718-786-8585 as soon as possible to get your meter system updated. -
Cabs with an M7 system (Taximeter in the front) will be updated MANUALLY and NEED to come into the Metroshop.
- COST: $84.00 + sales tax. The cost covers labor, resealing the meter and dedicated staff if needed for such work.

NOTE: To avoid traffic in our shop and avoid summonses for double parking, we strongly recommend that you bring meters in bulk to perform the work.
- Cabs with Dash systems (Curb tablets in the front) will be updated REMOTELY and do NOT need to come into the Metroshop.
- COST: $65.00 + sales tax, per cab, & will be billed directly to you during Curb’s monthly billing.
